Your pilots have over 53 years combined flying hours and have been resident seaplane pilots operating in and around Fiordland since 2015. We offer friendly service and a clean safety record.
Check in to our lakefront office at 65 Lakefront Drive, Te Anau. It is easy to find as the seaplane is parked out the front.
Yes, there is free parking on the roadside.
Your pilot will make the weather call 30 minutes before your flight time. Don’t make your own weather call as the weather is often stunning on the coast when it is cloudy in town.
Call us or pop into the office when you arrive at Te Anau. We will try to reschedule your flight for a better time if it suits you. If you are unable to reschedule, we will happily cancel your flight and apply a full refund if you have pre-paid.
Yes, every passenger has a window seat and headset with microphone for listening and talking.
Flying is fun! You will be flying with an experienced pilot in an aircraft that is on a regular maintenance schedule.
0 - 4 year olds are free. 5yrs – 14 year olds are a child’s fare (when travelling with two fare paying adults).

Yes, they are the same as what you would use on top of your car. They are approved to carry bikes by the Civil Aviation Authority.
It will depend on how steep the beach is as to whether you can keep your feet dry. Every landing is different. Your pilot will ‘test the waters’ first and advise as to whether you need to remove your shoes before going ashore.
The weather can be windy in Fiordland and your pilot will take this into account to select the best flight path and altitude to give you the smoothest flight possible.
We have two planes based in Te Anau.
We are not a big airline so check-in is quick and easy. Check-in 15 minutes before your flight time will be sufficient.
No, please use a bathroom prior to your flight. There are public bathrooms nearby at Lion's Park, or in the town centre next to Paper Plus.
Yes, we can land in Deepwater Basin (Milford Sound) and at the Deep Cove boat ramp (Doubtful Sound).
Yes, but as a precaution you may wish to check with your medical professional.
We do not offer transfers, but our office is centrally located and within walking distance of the Te Anau town centre and many of the accommodation providers in Te Anau.
Passengers >110kg’s, please contact us to discuss. There is no age restriction. There is one step to get up into the aircraft, so long as your mobility allows this then you can fly.
Yes. Please check with us prior during winter months as this is when we schedule our maintenance.

No, we hold credit card details as confirmation for your booking and you pay on the day once the flight is confirmed.
